A leader in the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Most Senior
Evang. Taiwo Oshin, has declared an end to the leadership crisis
which hitherto tore the church apart, saying that it has become
a thing of the past.
The leader who spoke at the yearly anniversary of Feast of the
Blessed Virgin Mary and thanksgiving service organized by
Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Holy Mary Cathedral, Odan-Otun,
Ota, Ogun Smjtate, acknowledged that there was controversy over
the leadership of the church sometime ago but through divine
intervention the crisis has died down.
The CCC elder held that God only gave them one leader in
Reverend Mobiyina Friday Osofa, son of the founder of the church
and he is doing everything to move the church forward while he
urged all the members to cooperate with him.
Speaking on issues relating to national development, the cleric
implored Nigerian leaders and the government to have the fear of
God and not to allow their present position to jeopardize their
chances in the kingdom.
Oshin urged all Nigerians to adopt the lifestyle of Holy Mary in
their activities in order to stay close to God, saying that her
lifestyle manifested in her giving birth to Jesus Christ as a
virgin.
