Holy Pilgrimage to Israel, Egypt and Rome.

Dear Brethren in the Lord,

Holy Pilgrimage to Israel, Egypt and Rome.

In pursuance of our approved Budget of Activities for the year 2005, we are pleased to advise that arrangements have been concluded with our Tel Aviv Tourists Guide for the air lifting of our members on pilgrimage to the Holy Land in February and March 2005.

The first Batch will be air lifted from Kennedy Airport, NY or Newark NJ airport on February 20, 2005 arriving back in USA on March 4, 2005.

The second batch will leave USA on March 19, arriving back on March 31,  2005. This departure time can be advanced or delayed by 3-4 days.

The itinerary covers important biblical sites in Israel, Mt. Sinai in Egypt,  the Basilica and Vatican City in Rome; detailed itinerary is hereby attached.

The price per pilgrim is $2,500.00 (Two thousand five hundred US dollars.) The price covers your Air fare, lodging in a four- star hotel (2 persons per room), sightseeing, transportation, feeding, and $100.00 for personal shopping.

Each Parish is required to collate the names of intending pilgrims, the traveling time preference and forward same to reach CCC, P O BOX 7253, Trenton. NJ.08628 on or before January 05, 2005. Payment must be made on or before January 10, 2005.

The pilgrimage promises to be both highly spiritual and fascinating.  Please note that any interested Celestial member is welcome.

The Executive Council will provide a detailed Report to all after the pilgrimage.

OUTLINED ITINERARY                

Day 1 – New-York

Meet at airport and board your flight to Israel.

Day 2 – Arrival - Galilee

Arrival at Ben Gurion airport. Meet your guide and board your bus for  the transfer to your hotel in the Galilee. Overnight in the Galilee.

Day 3 - Galilee

Full-day of touring: you will visit Caesarea (Acts 10, 23), Mt Carmel (1st Kings 18), Megiddo (the Biblical site of Armageddon – Rev 16:16, Zach 12:11), Nazareth with the Mt of Precipice and the Church of the Annunciation (Luke 1:5-38), Mary’s Well, Cana (John 2:1-11). Overnight in the Galilee.

Day 4 - Galilee

Another day of touring around the Sea of Galilee: Mt of Beatitudes (Matthew 5), Tabgha (Matthew 14:14-21), the Primacy of St Peter (John 21), Kursi. Ride a board accross the lake. Baptism or renewal of Baptism vows in the Jordan River

(Matthew 3:13). Overnight in the Galilee.

Day 5 – Jerusalem

Leave for the Jordan Valley, visit the archeological  site of Beit Shean  (Samuel 1: 31) , and then drive south to Qumran, see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, the Dead Sea, lowest point on earth, Jericho (2nd Kings 2:9 and Joshua 2), the Valley of the Shadow of Death (Psalm. 23). Continue through the Judean Desert to Jerusalem

Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6 – Jerusalem

After a drive up to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem, you will begin your tour of the holy sites : Ascension (Acts 1:8-13), Bethphage , Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit (Luke 13:34, Matthew 23:37), Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-56), the Kidron Valley, the Eastern Gate, communion at the Garden Tomb.

Overnight in Jerusalem

 Day 7 – Jerusalem

You will visit the Old City of Jerusalem: the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, the Pool of Bethesda (John 5), Flagellation, Via Dolorosa, the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.

Overnight in Jerusalem

 Day 8 – Jerusalem – Eilat

Visit Ein Karem, birth place of John the Baptist,  Emmaus (Luke 4:13-35), the Valley of  Ayalon (Joshua 10), Beit Shemesh (1st Samuel 6:7-9), the Valley of Ela where David defeated Goliath. Drive south to Beer Sheva the city of Abraham, then kibbutz Sde Boker where Ben Gurion lived, and on to Eilat for overnight.

 Day 9 – Eilat – Mt Sinai

After a tour of Eilat, you will cross the border into Sinai and drive to Mt Sinai for overnight.

 Day 10 – Mt Sinai – Eilat

Rise early to climb up Mt Sinai. After the visit, drive  back and cross the border into Israel, overnight in Eilat.

 Day 11 – Eilat – Departure

Leave Eilat and drive via the Negev to Jaffa (Acts 9), short tour of this ancient city, then continue to Ben Gurion airport for departure to Rome.

 Day 12 – Rome

Full day sightseeing tour of Rome including the Vatican.

 Day 13 – Rome – New York

Transfer to airport and flight home.
