Pray for Nigeria, Cele women urged

Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) women have been urge to pray more for Nigeria
for total peace, unity and divine direction as the nation is getting set for
2007 general elections.
This appeal was made by Assistant Superior Evangelist Prophet Emmanuel Tossu,
the acting Circuit B Head, Oyo State CCC while speaking after a marathon all
night prayer service organized by Women Bible Prayer Fellowship (WBPF) held at
CCC Ipe-Odo Aguntan District Headquaters, Sanyo, Lagos-Ibadan Express way,
Ibadan recently.
Prophet Tossu, who is the shepherd in charge said, Nigeria needs prayer more
than anything now, saying that involvement of women in this spiritual warfare
would be highly appreciated by all.
The cleric also appealed to the women who came from various celestial churches
in Ogun and Oyo States that they should do everything possible to sustain their
fellowship and even work harder to carry other women in the fold along, pointing
out that a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian.
He urged the women to continue to study the bible to be wise appealing to women
in the celestial circle to join the women fellowship.
The women group holds the prayer service tagged: A night with christ once a
month, rotating it among CCC churches in the zone.
