The family of Alexander Ademola Oyewole sincerely thank all well wishers, friends, relatives and family.  Your caring, thoughtfulness and prayers have been very critical in helping to see us through this hard times.  We do know that Alexander is in a better place and we shall continue to pray for him.  He will be greatly missed.  May the Lord that we serve continue to abide and protect each and every one of you.


We thank the Lord for giving us Alex for twenty years.  Farewell good son, friend and brother.  God speed on your journey back home.  We will never forget you here on earth and may the gates of heaven remember you when you knock.

Ademola Oyewole


Alexander Oyewole, the son of Funmilayo Jennifer Whitaker and Charles Akande Oyewole was born on January 17th, 1985.  He was the oldest child. He was born and completed his Kindergarten and elementary education in in Baltimore, Maryland at Union Memorial Hospital.  He was active in basketball and running track.  Alexander received a trophy in both sports and for his first rate performance.  Alexander traveled to Nigeria to complete middle school.

While in Nigeria, he made lots of friends and attended the Nigerian Naval Academy in Port Harcourt, River State.  He then returned to America to attend Valley Forge Military Academy in Philadelphia.  At the academy, he was a drill sergeant.  He was also a player on the football team.  He received many certificates and badges for his great accomplishments.

Alexander later attended Academy Park High School in Sharon Hill, PA. and subsequently, Lock Haven University. He enjoyed writing poetry, playing music and writing short length stories.  He was an active member of Celestial Church of Christ Youth Ministry(Voice of Grace Parish, Ewing, NJ) and a very insightful preacher.  Alexander was a symbol of love, and peace.  Indeed an angel is lost.  He will be greatly missed!  May his soul rest in peace.
