S.O.M.E (Save One More Everyday)

When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or

speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that

wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.

–Ezekiel 3:18

This verse scares me! God puts different people in our paths for us to witness

to. He brings friends into our lives, friends who are on a one way street to

eternal damnation, so that we can warn them and dissuade them from their evil

ways. He gives us jobs that are filled with people begging to be saved. He

puts us in relationships with people of the opposite gender that are not saved,

so that we can bring them to him, and after that job has been done or as soon as

they start to pull us down, he removes them just has quickly as he brought them

in. He places us in families of unbelievers and expects us to make attempts to

create believers out of them. He even brings us in contact with people on the

streets that are dying in their sin; they may ask for money, but somehow, a

conversation about God starts.

Which of these situations have you been in? How did you react to them? How did

to attempt to save these people’s lives? If any of these people died today,

would you be held accountable for their blood? Scary thought isn’t it?

Do something about it today! Don’t start tomorrow, don’t start next week! Do

something today!

Many Christians today are so focused on preaching to believers, that we somehow

forget about the people dying in their sins outside in the world. It is good to

grasp one and not let go of the other. Churches need to start creating

disciples and sending them out in the world. I have heard many Christians

complain that they just don’t feel ready enough to go out there and preach to

people. When are you going to be ready Christians? You do not have to know the

entire Bible in order to talk to people! The day God saved you was the day he

put his words in your mouth, so go out into the world and share your story. You

are bound to save one soul!

Everyone and everything is in your life for a reason. There is no such thing as

coincidence in the Christian vocabulary, so make the best of every relationship

and situation you find yourself in. I challenge you today to make a disciple of

yourself and loved ones. I challenge pastors to make disciples of your

congregation. I challenge you parents to make disciples of your children.

Husbands of your wives and Christians make disciples of the world. And when in
