The Known knowns

Friends,

Romans 6:1-2

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

As an instrument set aside for His use, God's plan is to bring lost souls

back home that they may experience the love and mercies of His goodness.

The Lord plans to execute this through you and me, He plans to shower His

anointing power on us, His wisdom, His Healing, His strength, His

knowledge, His blessings and all good things you and I can think of.

Through His touch on our lives in any of these ways, He will be making a

firm statement to the unbelieving and lost world. But how can this mission

be accomplished if we continue to uphold known sins in our lives? God's

grace will not thrive or abound in sin; hence we must address the known

knowns in our daily walk of faith. King David knew the implication of this

hence his fervent prayers to the Lord to enable him confront his acknowledged sins.

Psalms 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Daily renewal of our heart and soul through the power of the Holy Spirit

and His word is necessary to keep a clean heart in our walk and also keep

us from being our own obstacles to divine favor and visitation.
